Can you tell us about your roles at HF and your involvement in the Diktamen project?
Jennifer Thornton: “I’m the Head of the Legal Support Team. I oversaw the Diktamen rollout across the firm, focusing on user training, adoption, and change management. It was important that we ensured the solution aligned with how our people work day-to-day.”
Adam Bentley: “I’m the Solution Architect here, working closely with both our internal teams and external partners to ensure new solutions like Diktamen fit well within our broader IT infrastructure. My role was to help integrate the platform and manage the technical aspects of deployment.”
What prompted the search for a cloud digital dictation solution?
Jennifer Thornton: “Our main aim was to source an efficient cloud-based solution focused on digital dictation rather than integrated task management. Flexibility for our users was also a core requirement, having the option to work “on the go”, in the office or at home. Diktamen ticked all of those boxes!”
Adam Bentley: “We also wanted something more scalable and secure. With Diktamen, we saw the opportunity to modernise our infrastructure without burdening our IT resources.”

Adam Bentley: “We wanted to ensure the platform delivered performance parity with our old system—especially for our high-volume users. The testing period helped build confidence, and we were able to refine the rollout plan for maximum success.”
